Number Crunch is a game I built to explore a slightly more playful take on the daily game genre. The result was an approachable game that has some depth to it.
Gameplay
The mechanics are simple, but they stack in ways that reward experimentation, so two people can solve the same puzzle with completely different approaches.
Results
After completing a puzzle, you are shown a histogram of all of the scores from that day. This serves as a nice point of comparison and often leads to people trying for a better score.
The crown
A fun addition to the game is giving crowns to people who had the best score from the previous day.
